As most of you and I will be travelling home by tube today. I thought I would post 5 facts about the London Underground Network.

• There are 412 Escalators on the London Underground Network
  
• The longest, escalator is at Angel Tube Station rising 27.5m
• The busiest tube station is Waterloo 51,100 with people entering and exiting every day.
• 1,073 million people are carried on the tube each year
• Average train speed is 33km, (ah, so maybe thats why you get home late then)
